Blood BDNF levels also tended to be lower in the ischemia group (75.27 ± 8.66 pg/mL) than in the sham group (91.67 ± 10.57 pg/mL, p = 0.59), and this tendency was more pronounced with tacrine administration (ischemia + saline: 75.03 ± 17.27 pg/mL, ischemia + tacrine: 90.40 ± 29.07 pg/mL, p = 0.79; Figure 1B).
