CRP and septic shock: Survival percentages among patients who had >75-year age, C-reactive protein > 90 mg/L, septic shock or BSI onset ≤ 3 days were significantly lower than among patients who had ≤75-year age (p = 0.02), C-reactive protein ≤ 90 mg/L (p = 0.02), no septic shock (p < 0.001) or BSI onset >3 days (p = 0.001).
