Of these 13 gene candidates, three genes are already known to be tumor suppressor genes (Figure 2C)—adherens junctions associated protein 1 (AJAP1) [27,28], GATA binding protein 5 (GATA5) [29,30,31,32], and lecithin retinol acyltransferase (LRAT) [33,34]. The gene discussed is LRAT; the disease is neoplasm.
