Further analysis revealed a statistically significantly lower concentration of the test parameter in the serum of women with serous carcinoma compared to that of women with ovarian serous adenocarcinoma (p ˂ 0.05) and a statistically significantly lower serum concentration of caspase-8 in both women with ovarian serous cystadenoma and papillary serous cystadenocarcinoma compared to that in women in the control group (p ˂ 0.001), as illustrated in Figure 4.
