As expected, plasma ANP (p < 0.01), BNP (p < 0.0001), cGMP (p < 0.05) and NEP (p < 0.0001) levels were significantly elevated, while corin (p < 0.05) levels were significantly reduced in DCM mice on a NSD vs. non-DCM WT controls on a NSD (Figure 6). The gene discussed is CORIN; the disease is familial dilated cardiomyopathy.
