IGF1R and soft tissue sarcoma: Using an immunohistochemical approach, Asmane et al. [69] demonstrated that exclusive nuclear IGF1R immunoreactivity (compared with cytoplasmic, or nuclear+cytoplasmic staining) was correlated with a better progression-free survival and overall survival in patients with unresectable or metastatic soft tissue sarcomas, Ewing sarcoma, and osteosarcoma treated with IGF1R monoclonal antibodies.
