In the PRAGUE-18 (Prasugrel Versus Ticagrelor in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction Treated With Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)observational study, de-escalation of therapy and change of P2Y12 inhibitor to clopidogrel was also more frequent in patients initially receiving ticagrelor (44%) compared with receiving prasugrel (34%). This evidence concerns the gene P2RY12 and acute myocardial infarction.
