Despite these studies, very few articles have so far shed any light on the miR-877 molecular mechanism in cancer, describing that miR-877 inhibited Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) expression in glioma [43], activated p16 expression in bladder cancer [44], and restored paclitaxel sensitivity in hepatocellular carcinoma [32].
