In the univariable analysis, the low CLDN12 expression (hazard ratio [HR] 3.412, p = 0.002), FIGO stage IIb/III/IV (HR 4.866, p < 0.001), tumor size (HR 3.945, p < 0.001), vascular involvement (HR 3.509, p = 0.005), lymphatic involvement (HR 2.973, p = 0.019), distant metastasis (HR 5.915, p = 0.004), chemoradiotherapy (HR 4.495, p = 0.041), and recurrence (HR 19.787, p < 0.001), showed significant prognostic variables for the DSS of cervical cancer patients (Table 2).
