It is established that PCa tissues display recurrent genomic aberrations, including alterations at 8p (containing the prostate-specific tumor suppressor NKX3–1), 8q (c-MYC amplification), 10q23 (PTEN loss), 17q (TP53 locus) and Xq12 (AR gene amplification) as well as TMPRSS2:ERG gene fusion or other fusion events involving additional ETS family members [58]. Here, MYC is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
