These modifications may be controlled and, although there are limited data on CKD population, lipid-lowering therapies including statin or statin plus ezetimibe combination, PCSK9 inhibitors, omega 3 and fibrates (in selected cases and based on eGFR value) represent important strategies in the management of CKD patients and in the prevention of CV events.
