NAA40 and myeloid leukemia: When looking at endogenous Naa40p expression by means of Western analysis, and while the canonical Naa40p proteoform of Naa40—Naa40p27 or long Naa40L—appears the most common proteoform of expressed hNAA40 in human cells, expression of hNaa40S could be demonstrated in certain cell lines such as the human (pro-)myelocytic leukemia cell lines HL-60 (Figure 1B) and K-562 (Figure 2B).
