SEC62 and neoplasm: When correlating SEC62 expression level (exemplary immunohistochemical stainings of one Sec62-low and one Sec62-high MM are shown in Figure 2A) with different clinical and histopathological features in melanoma, including T, N, and M stages; the presence of ulceration; sex; localization of primary tumor; and MM subtype, we found significantly higher Sec62 levels in patients with lymph node or distant metastases in comparison with those without (p = 0.0009 and p = 0.026, Figure 2B,D).
