For example, amlodipine and atorvastatin are two commonly used drugs in the clinical treatment of hypertension and dyslipidemia (Curran 2010). The co-administration of these two drugs induced adverse drug-drug interaction due to the inhibition of CYP3A4 by atorvastatin (Yang et al. 2020).
