CXCL11 and neoplasm: Macrophage-derived CXCL9 and CXCL10 are indispensable for the response of immune checkpoint inhibitors (anti-PD-1 and anti-CTLA-4), single-cell RNA-seq analysis of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) showed that CXCL9/CXCL10/CXCL11 was mainly expressed by macrophages following immune checkpoint blockade, this study showed that enhancing the production of CXCL9/CXCL10 to improve the efficacy of immunotherapy in patients, these findings can be used clinically for diagnosis or treatment (44).
