In a prior study of a similar patient population, also utilizing the Flatiron Health database, Abernethy and colleagues19 reported a median OS of 10.0 months (95% CI 9.4–10.8) for 1578 patients with nonsquamous NSCLC without documented EGFR and ALK genomic aberrations who received first-line systemic therapy, most commonly carboplatin plus pemetrexed with or without bevacizumab. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
