DDX5 and infection: Moreover, at 4 and 8 hpi, as shown in Fig 8B, the expression of DHX58 was decreased in DDX5+/- mice compared with that of wild-type littermates, while p65 and IKKγ were obviously increased in DDX5+/- mice compared with those of wild-type littermates, indicating that DDX5 regulated m6A methylation of transcript to activate the negative DHX58 pathway while inhibiting the positive p65 pathways after infection with VSV in innate immunity.
