Having examined the phenotypic readouts of circPVT1 expression in A549 and HCT116 cells, we next sought to determine whether the pro-oncogenic role of circPVT1 was due to the circPVT1/let-7/NRAS axis, i.e., whether it was due to circPVT1 relieving let-7 repression of NRAS, upregulating its expression and subsequently driving cancer phenotypes.
