For females, the cumulative risks of CRC at the age of 70 were estimated to be 27.5% (95% CI = 13.4%–51.3%), 30.6% (95% CI = 14.3%–57.7%), and 49.3% (95% CI = 21.9%–84.5%) in the carriers of germline mutations in MLH1 or MSH2, MLH1 and MSH2, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene MLH1 and colorectal carcinoma.
