Using ddPCR targeting detection, at least one of the recurrent mutated loci situated in TP53 c.747G > T (p.R249S), CTNNB1 c.121A > G (p.T41A), CTNNB1 c.133 T > C (p.S45A), and TERT c.-124C > T have been detected in the peripheral blood of HCC patients, without being detected in normal HCC tissues or mononuclear cells of blood samples [61]. The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
