Our results showed that neutrophil CD64 had the highest diagnostic value for sepsis in adult patients with a pooled sensitivity of 0.88 (95% CI, 0.81–0.92); pooled specificity of 0.88 (95% CI, 0.83–0.91); and AUC of 0.94 (95% CI, 0.91–0.96), followed by PCT, with a pooled sensitivity of 0.82 (95% CI, 0.78–0.85); pooled specificity of 0.78 (95% CI, 0.74–0.82); and AUC of 0.87 (95% CI, 0.83–0.89).
