Quantitative reverse-transcription PCR (qRT-PCR) assays demonstrated that both GATA3-AS1 and CENPU were markedly overexpressed in MDA-MB-468, BT-549, HCC1954, and MCF-7 (three breast cancer cell lines) than in MCF-10A cells (normal human breast epithelial cells), while the expression of miR-495-3p was lower in breast cancer cell lines than in normal breast epithelial cells (Figure 8D–8F). The gene discussed is GATA3; the disease is breast carcinoma.
