Among the 260 grade II, 267 grade III, and 173 grade IV glioma patients, significant correlations were observed between IRF1 (p = 8.00E-61), IRF2 (p = 6.80E-18), IRF3 (p = 1.70E-23), IRF5 (p = 2.30E-08), IRF7 (p = 1.90E-29), IRF8 (p = 0.029), IRF9 (p = 4.80E-05) expression and pathological grade (Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene IRF7 and central nervous system cancer.
