The Gene Ontology analysis revealed that 19 genes were proposed to be involved in cardiac developmental processes, 15 of which encode cardiac development regulators or important protein components of cardiomyocytes, such as genes that control muscle contraction: Tnni2, Hspb6, and Ckm; a gene that encodes the cardiac arrhythmia-associated transcription factor SHOX2; and another 4 genes involved in coronary vascular development: Aplnr, Ntrk2, Flrt2 and Rspo3 (Figure 3E). This evidence concerns the gene SHOX2 and cardiac arrhythmia.
