miR-200 has also been reported to inhibit tumor angiogenesis in NSCLC by directly targeting interleukin-8 and CXCL1 secreted from the endothelial and cancer cells (Pecot et al., 2013), suggesting multifunction of miR-200 family in NSCLC progression and metastasis. Here, CXCL8 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
