Overexpression of transgelin-2 in cytotoxic CD8+ T cells increases adhesion to ICAM-1-positive E0771 breast cancer cells, but not ICAM-1-negative B16/F10 melanoma cells, suggesting the therapeutic potential of transgelin-2 in T-cell immunotherapy (Jeon et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene TAGLN2 and melanoma.
