As shown in Table 1, the majority of TI-GI CMV immunocompetent patients had advanced age (>65 years old), accounted for 66.3% of patients, 71.9% were in malnutritional status (defined as low body mass index less than 18.5 kg/m2 and serum albumin <3.0 g/dL), and 62.9% had CKD of at least stage III.
