Triptolide, a major active component from T. wilfordii Hook F, shows antitumor effects in many cancers, such as breast cancer, pancreatic AC, and lung cancer, by suppressing cell proliferation, inducing cell apoptosis, and reversing stem-like features by regulating the HSP70, NF-κB, and p53 pathways [20, 29, 30]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and breast carcinoma.
