Of the remaining parameters, ten were significantly correlated with mortality in the entire cohort on univariate analysis: sex, age, Child–Pugh classification, a history of HCC, aspartate aminotransferase level, γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) level, estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), serum sodium level, platelet count, and AFP level (Table 2).
