Also, in moderate and severely malnourished CHC patients who received diets containing insufficient vitamin D and Ca, a significant increase in vitamin 25(OH)D (ng/mL) levels and an increase in the levels of PTH (pg/mL) were significantly reported compared to control subjects and CHC patients who had normal diets with adequate vitamin D and Ca as shown in Table 2 and Figure 1(a).
