CDH1 and gastric neoplasm: Using subtype information from a previous TCGA study40, CDH1 mutations were found more often in the genomically stable (GS) subtype of stomach cancer (two-sided Fisher’s exact, p value = 2.0 × 10−5), which was presented more frequently in younger patients (two-sided Wilcoxon rank sum test, p value = 0.0058) (Supplementary Fig. 10a, b).
