According to previous studies, it has been found that single nucleotide polymorphism can predict the risk and prognosis of cancer.[14,15] Long non-coding RNA nuclear paraspeckle assembly transcript 1 (NEAT1) is a nuclear-enriched lncRNA, and about 3.7 kb located on chromosome 11q13.1.[16] Previous studies have illustrated that NEAT1 has tumor marker significance in colorectal cancer, breast cancer, and other tumors.[17,18] Studies have demonstrated that single-nucleotide polymorphisms in NEAT1 are related to the occurrence of cancer.[19,20]. This evidence concerns the gene NEAT1 and cancer.
