A number of studies have revealed that the high expression of LncRNA UCA1 is closely related to the survival of patients with esophageal carcinoma, but the results are also quite different.[23–28] To explore the expression and potential biological processes of LncRNA UCA1 in esophageal carcinoma, we conducted meta-analysis to explore the role of LncRNA UCA1 in esophageal carcinoma, and collected relevant The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data to further testify the result. This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and carcinoma of esophagus.
