Previous studies have proved that LncRNA UCA1 may play an important oncogene role in human cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma, breast cancer, colorectal cancer and gastric cancer.[8–11] Li et al[23] revealed that the expression of LncRNA UCA1 is up-regulated in esophageal cancer tissues and cell lines, and is closely related to tumor differentiation, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
