Even when accounting for 30% of missing values, the data indicated that the majority of studied patients (76%) had low IgM levels at diagnosis of CVID which was in contrast to previously published data [1, 2], and CD4 lymphocytopenia was more prevalent at diagnosis of lymphoma (n = 11, 52%) compared to initial diagnosis of CVID (n = 6, 29%). This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and common variable immunodeficiency.
