Although initial genetic testing results in the KOHBRA study revealed a VUS in 676 patients (278 patients for BRCA1 and 453 patients for BRCA2) out a total of 2,403 breast cancer patients (28.13%, 676/2,403), re-evaluation revealed a lower frequency of VUSs (8.03%, 193/2,403). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and breast carcinoma.
