In the primary model which adjusted for age, sex, years of education, APOE-ε4 allele status, and five ancestry-specific PCs, T2DM was associated with increased odds of CIND at a similar magnitude (OR = 1.31, 95% CI: 1.08, 1.58) to the unrestricted analysis. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
