EZH2 and systemic lupus erythematosus: Since the blockade of IFN-I signaling has shown positive therapeutic effects for SLE (24), the demonstration of inhibiting EZH2 could interfere with IFN-I signaling, together with the previous findings that inhibiting EZH2 could reverse SLE T-cell abnormalities, suggests that EZH2 is a potent multivalent therapeutic target which may benefit broad SLE patients.
