To confirm its role in cancer cell growth, immortalized normal human breast epithelial cells (MCF-10A and 184B5) and breast cancer (BC) cell lines, including seven triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines (MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-468, Hs578T, BT20, BT549, HCC1806, and HCC1937), four luminal subtypes cell lines (MCF-7, HCC1500, T47D, and BT474), and two HER2 overexpression cell lines (BT474 and SKBR3), were treated with different concentrations of SPA for 48 h and the cell viability was analyzed by crystal violet staining assay. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast cancer.
