CRP and COVID-19: Interestingly, analyzing medical records we found that in pediatric population with COVID-19: i) females, although not significantly, were older than males and required more days of hospitalization (Table 1); ii) males had CRP and ESR values higher than the normal range, but no significant gender differences were detected (Table 2); iii) for both sexes, fibrinogen and procalcitonin values were in the normal range and were not different between the two sexes; and iv) for both sexes the D-Dimer values were higher than the normal range.
