In the whole set, the median CPT1A levels in serum from breast cancer patients was 38.99 ± 36.63 ng/mL, which was significantly higher than the levels observed in patients with benign breast disease (18.63 ± 13.91 ng/mL; p < 0.0001) or healthy controls (13.79 ± 11.97 ng/mL; Fig. 2c, p < 0.0001). Here, CPT1A is linked to breast carcinoma.
