In two experiments using our doxycycline-dependent GliPR1 knockdown system, whereby mice underwent subcutaneous and cranial transplantation of a shGliPR1-transduced clone (clone 980-5 transduced with GliPR1 sh#301), those mice treated with doxycycline to induce GliPR1 knockdown had reduced subcutaneous tumor volume and cerebral tumor area compared to those left untreated. This evidence concerns the gene GLIPR1 and neoplasm of cerebral hemisphere.
