KM survival analyses suggested MACC1 and vimentin as markers for predicting overall, metastasis-free, and disease-free survival in NPC patients but are less reliable for predicting relapse-free survival, whereas E-cadherin, could serve as a prognostic marker for overall, relapse-free, metastasis-free, and disease-free survival. The gene discussed is VIM; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
