There is no specific discussion on how SAA1 affects AKT phosphorylation, we conducted a GSEA study using glioma patient gene profiling data (GSE52009), and as shown (Fig. 3E), gene set differences in high versus low expression of SAA1 in GBM patients indicated that SAA1 may regulate biology process associated with cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction (p<0.01, ES=0.52), ECM-receptor interaction (p<0.01, ES=0.59), Focal adhesion (p<0.01, ES=0.41) and Jak-STAT signaling pathway (p<0.01, ES=0.42). This evidence concerns the gene SOAT1 and glioblastoma.
