UGT1A6 and childhood malignant neoplasm: It has been reported that the UGT1A6 variant (T-allele) is associated with a significantly increased risk of cardiotoxicity in childhood cancer survivors (p = 0.0062, OR = 7.98, 95% CI: 1.85–34.4) (Visscher et al., 2012; Visscher et al., 2013).
