FABP4 and angina pectoris: In conclusion, elevated plasma FABP3 was closely associated with prolonged QTc Interval and reduced EF in patients with stable angina, and was independently associated with plasma levels of hs-CRP, visfatin, FABP4, and WBC count, suggesting that plasma FABP3 may act through the effects of inflammation or cardiomyocyte injury to play as a surrogate parameter of prolonged QTc Interval and reduced EF.
