This revealed that an AFP level of < 100 ng/mL (HR = 2.164, p = 0.020), a platelet count > 400 × 109/L (HR = 3.234, p = 0.006), PRETEXT IV (HR = 4.162, p = 0.001), vascular invasion (HR = 2.763, p = 0.012), and distant metastasis (HR = 2.112, p = 0.024) were the independent risk factors for the prognosis of HB in children, and the differences were statistically significant. Here, AFP is linked to hemoglobin measurement.
