Our current analysis showed that DT with an oral non-vitamin K antagonist plus a P2Y12 inhibitor was associated with significantly less major and minor bleedings including TIMI defined major and minor bleedings, ISTH major bleeding and intracranial bleeding, with similar cardiovascular outcomes compared to the TT (aspirin, P2Y12 inhibitor, and a vitamin K antagonist) in DM patients with co-existing AF following PCI. This evidence concerns the gene P2RY12 and diabetes mellitus.
