We selected a polyclonal A375-shTXNIP cell population exhibiting a 30% decrease in TXNIP expression at the RNA level, in line with the magnitude of TXNIP downregulation that occurs in malignant (PM or MM) versus benign (BMN) lesions (Fig. 2B,C; Supp Fig. 2A, RNA and protein levels, left and right panels, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene TXNIP and Miyoshi myopathy.
