We found a significantly positive correlation between E-cadherin and AGO2 protein levels (r = 0.1831, p = 0.0020) (Fig. 1E), but a negative correlation between vimentin and AGO2 protein levels in CRC (r = −0.1799, p = 0.0026) (Fig. 1F). This evidence concerns the gene CDH1 and colorectal carcinoma.
