The rate of cell apoptosis was accordingly reversed in TGM2-overexpressing PANC-1 and Mia PaCa-2 cells in response to 50 μM kaempferol treatment when compared to the scramble group (2.733 ± 0.285% vs 16.8 ± 1.044% and 7.733 ± 0.328% vs 30.03 ± 1.749%, respectively) (Fig. 5d, e), suggesting that TGM2 plays a crucial role in pancreatic cancer cell apoptosis.
